I love the dark use of a forest, with it being not quite black and white, but nearly. This (in my opinion) adds to the symbolism that the church and religious theme in our film has much more dark than light.
The idea above is the same for this picture, but the use of a single colour symbolises our character of the girl, who would be shown in red or something like that, or possibly in white with a spreading red stain on the white clothes to symbolise her 'mad' state of mind or her declining sanity spreading through her white 'pure' self.
I like the idea of having a foggy image of a church, as it adds to the scary atmosphere of our horror film. The use of the church also ties into our religious theme, and shows that this is based around the darker aspect of the catholic church.
I picked this image, because i really like the idea of a dark and foggy forest, with looming trees. This creates a very sinister atmosphere if done correctly, but can also be quite cheesy and sterotypical if done with wrong angles.

This images features a closer view of the Klu Kux Klan members, within the dark forest. This creates a really sinister atmosphere, as you can't see the members faces.
The picture on the right shows a blacked out face with white eyes, in order to make them stand out more. i like this idea a lot, and would love to incorporate this idea into my film opening. The picture below features a dark forest, with figures dressed in the Klu Klux Klan outfits. But in this case, the figures are dressed in black, making them even more sinister than the members already are.
Lauren.
